Sir Rickard Christophers Medal

Awarded by the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH), the Sir Rickard Christophers Medal recognizes outstanding senior‑level contributions to tropical medicine and hygiene with particular emphasis on demonstrable practical and field applications; it is a bronze medal conferred every three years and carries no monetary prize. Nominations must be submitted by RSTMH members or Fellows and nominees must also be RSTMH members or Fellows; self‑nomination is not permitted. Nominations should provide clear evidence of exceptional scientific contribution and tangible practical/field impact; the next award cycle opens in 2027.
