Awarded by the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH), the Sir Rickard Christophers Medal recognizes outstanding senior‑level contributions to tropical medicine and hygiene with particular emphasis on demonstrable practical and field applications; it is a bronze medal conferred every three years and carries no monetary prize.
