Slater, Jonah W. Memorial Scholarship Fund

About this program

Community Foundation of Noble County funds the Slater Jonah W. Memorial Scholarship, a one-time $500 award payable for the fall (typically one award per year) for a Noble County resident pursuing post-secondary education—vocational training, a 2‑year associate, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree—at any accredited college or university in any field of study. Applicants must be residents of Noble County and apply via the Community Foundation’s Grant Interface: create or log into an account, complete the eligibility quiz to be matched, and fill out matched applications plus the CFNC Main Application (essays, references, activities). All required materials must be submitted by Jan. 14, 2027 at 11:00 pm; funds are restricted to tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing), and recipients must return an emailed acceptance form to receive payment.
