Snapdragon Fund

About this program

The Snapdragon Fund, a partnership of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and Visual Art Exchange, provides $60,000 in direct grants to support artists’ creative practices and ambitious, artist-organized projects in 12 North Carolina counties. Funding prioritizes work demonstrating high artistic merit and community impact, including projects that support other artists, engage broader communities, and advance racial, disability, or queer justice. Applicants must be artists or creatives located in Cumberland, Durham, Edgecombe, Franklin, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Nash, Orange, Wake, Wayne, or Wilson counties, with particular consideration for historically overlooked and under-resourced artists.
