The Montana Community Foundation offers the Snowbird Fund to provide direct financial support to Native families in Montana actively searching for their missing loved ones. The fund covers essential expenses such as travel, meals, equipment, and awareness campaigns, with direct payments of $1,000 available to eligible individuals. Applicants must be actively leading a search for a missing loved one in Montana and provide documentation, including a W-9 Form or personal details, along with a Missing Persons Report or Clearinghouse page link. There is no deadline, and assistance is available year-round, with reapplication possible after six months.
