SNRS Clinical Researcher Award

About this program

The Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS) offers the SNRS Clinical Researcher Award to recognize an individual with greater than 50% appointment as a clinical researcher whose established program has advanced the science and practice of nursing in the Southern Region. Eligible nominees must be SNRS members and demonstrate a robust, sustained program of clinical research, documented regional research activities, scholarly contributions to nursing knowledge, and leadership in mentoring and teaching; nominations are submitted electronically by a current SNRS member (self-nominations permitted) and recipients must agree to attend the SNRS Annual Conference to accept the award. Nominations must be submitted as a single PDF containing a nomination letter, two recommendation letters from active SNRS members, the nominee’s CV, two published or in‑press research articles, and a consent statement to attend the conference; the SNRS Awards Committee reviews packets and recommends recipients for final approval by the SNRS Governing Board, and awardees are responsible for their own travel/attendance expenses.
