SNRS Mid-Career Award

About this program

The Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS) offers the Mid-Career Award to recognize an SNRS member whose scholarly program advances nursing practice, education, policy, or population health and who mentors the next generation of nurse scholars in the SNRS region. Eligible nominees must be SNRS members who completed doctoral education more than five years prior to nomination and, if employed in academia, hold the rank of Associate Professor or lower; nominations must be submitted by a current SNRS member (self-nominations accepted). Nominations are submitted via an online form with a single uploaded PDF containing a letter of nomination, two letters of support (≤2 pages each), the completed form, a 150‑word statement of research impact and service, signed consent to attend the Annual Conference, the nominee’s CV, and two published or in‑press research articles. The SNRS Awards Committee reviews packets and recommends recipients to the Governing Board; awardees must attend the Annual Conference at their own expense and all submitted materials become the property of SNRS.
