About this program

San Antonio Area Foundation's Special and Urgent Needs grant provides rapid-response, one-time awards of up to $10,000 to nonprofits facing unexpected, unbudgeted needs that threaten service delivery or to seize unforeseen opportunities to expand services. Applications are accepted any time and reviewed monthly; applicants access the online application by creating an account or may contact Senior Program Officer Gavin Nichols (gnichols@saafdn.org) for questions. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations that lack other funding sources for the critical need and whose ability to fulfill their mission would be compromised without this support.
