Stetson Kennedy Vox Populi ("Voice of the People") Award

Administered by the Oral History Association and co‑sponsored by the Stetson Kennedy Foundation, the Stetson Kennedy Vox Populi ("Voice of the People") Award honors individuals and organizations using oral history to advance social justice or document social justice advocates and carries a $200 cash prize to be bestowed at the 2026 OHA Annual Meeting. Eligible nominees include individuals and organizations working in or using oral history; self‑nominations are accepted. Nominations require a 2–3 page nominating statement and a CV/resume or organizational project list; if advanced, the committee will request 2–5 letters of support, and applicants may submit supporting materials (transcripts, audio/video, publications, websites, etc.).
