STP Instructional Resource Grant

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (APA Division 2) offers the STP Instructional Resource Grant—annual awards up to $1,500—to support development of teaching resources or instructional/SoTL research for university, college, community college, or high school psychology courses, with outputs intended for STP website posting or journal publication. Applicants must be members of STP; current members of the Society’s Executive Committee and the IRG Committee are ineligible, and applicants from underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged. Proposals are submitted electronically by February 1 as a single PDF (~seven double‑spaced pages following STP guidelines), are reviewed by the IRG Committee with decisions by March 31, and require a mid‑progress report (July 15) and final report (December 31); internet sites must include a print‑friendly file and posted resources must not link externally. If accepted for STP publication, authors sign an agreement granting STP a distribution license (four years) while retaining copyright.
