About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP, APA Division 2) offers International Travel Grants to support attendance at psychology teaching conferences or meetings with a substantial teaching component, with emphasis on applicants from underrepresented and diverse backgrounds. The program has a $5,000 total budget and expects to fund approximately 3–4 awards (up to $1,500 each), with funds divided among strong applications and partial awards possible; reimbursable expenses must follow STP Travel Reimbursement Guidelines. Applicants must be STP members and are prioritized if they have submitted or plan to submit a teaching-related proposal; applicants should demonstrate how attendance will improve their teaching, apply via the STP site (login required), and submit by January 15 of the travel year (notifications by February 15); questions may be directed to international-travel@teachpsych.org.
