About this program
The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (APA Division 2) offers the STP Mentorship of Teachers Award to recognize exceptional mentorship of teachers across career stages, awarding $1,500 or up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement to attend STP’s Annual Conference on Teaching plus a plaque. Nominees should demonstrate sustained support for professional development, assistance with tenure/promotion preparation, and collaboration on SoTL or professional training. Applicants must be STP members and submit a two‑page cover letter describing mentorship contributions, a full CV, three letters of support (at least one from a teacher mentee), and a letter from the applicant’s supervisor via the STP submission portal by February 15; questions can be sent to service-awards@teachpsych.org.
