STP Partnerships Small Grants Program

About this program

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology offers the STP Partnerships Small Grants Program to support planned collaborative activities that promote psychology teaching or improve teaching practices (e.g., conferences, small meetings, interactive programs linking students, mentoring, or sharing specialized teaching resources). Grants provide up to $2,000 per project (awards are often split among multiple recipients) and may cover materials, equipment, fees, travel, and food. Applicants must be STP members who teach psychology at high schools, 2‑year colleges, or 4‑year colleges/universities. Projects must involve collaboration across different institutions, focus on teaching-related goals (SoTL-focused research is not eligible, though non‑SoTL research with a significant teaching component may be considered), and be completed within the designated calendar year; applications from underrepresented and diverse backgrounds are encouraged.
