Student Chapter Outreach Grant

About this program

The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) offers Student Chapter Outreach Grants of up to $500 to support creative, accessible, and sustainable science outreach activities conducted by individual chapters in their local communities. Eligible projects may be in-person, hybrid, or virtual and can include school programs, science fairs, demonstrations, cafés, or podcasts. Applicants must represent an active ASBMB Student Chapter, may apply only once per calendar year, and should propose feasible activities addressing a scientific need, reaching audiences beyond campus, assessing impact, and including a sustainability plan. Applications are currently closed; funded chapters must submit a progress report within two months of completing the program.
