Student Chapters Awards

About this program

American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) offers the Student Chapters Awards to recognize up to three chartered AAPS Student Chapters annually for exceptional service and outreach, awarding a plaque, public recognition at PharmSci 360, and $1,000 per chapter to support programming. Eligible activities include scientific and professional development sessions, community and charitable events, inter‑school or industry collaborations, and promotional efforts; selections are made by the AAPS Awards Committee based on frequency, creativity, and impact of service and outreach. Self‑nominations by chapter leadership are required; chapters must be chartered AAPS Student Chapters that have not won in the past 24 months, submitted a complete roster on time the prior year, have at least 10 AAPS student members and an executive committee and faculty advisor (an AAPS member) on file, and must submit an online application describing activities plus at least one endorsement letter from a senior AAPS member who is not the faculty advisor.
