Student Society Bursary Scheme

About this program

The Pathological Society of Great Britain & Ireland offers the Student Society Bursary Scheme awarding grants of up to £500 to support student society activities and events that promote understanding of pathology among medical, dental and biomedical students. Eligible applicants are established student societies based in the UK and/or Ireland, and the applicant must be a member of The Pathological Society (undergraduate membership details on the Society website). Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and must include a covering letter, a one-page A4 application outlining the proposal and proposed expenditure, a one-page description of the student society and its aims, and a written and signed endorsement from a Pathological Society member who has been in good standing for 12 months; applicants should consult the Society’s full terms and conditions before applying.
