Study Group Activities Fund

About this program

The American Musicological Society’s Study Group Activities Fund provides partial support for events and programs organized by AMS study groups, including speaker fees, venues, travel, lodging, supplies, and direct program costs. Awards of up to $500 may cover no more than 50% of total project costs, with applications due August 3, 2026, for the summer cycle. Only duly elected representatives of AMS study groups may apply, and each study group may receive funding no more than once in a 12-month period. Requests must be submitted before expenses are incurred and include a purpose statement and itemized budgets showing both requested and remaining costs.
