Summer at The Library Grant

About this program

The Texas Library Association’s Summer at the Library Grant Program funds libraries’ summer reading, literacy, learning, outreach, and community programming initiatives. Supported expenses may include books and reading materials, events, staff or volunteer training, technology, digital resources, marketing, and other innovative summer programming needs. Applicants must be TLA members working in any type of Texas library, with at least one library employee holding TLA membership; the 2027 application period runs September 15, 2026, through January 15, 2027. Awardees will be announced in April 2027, receive funds by May 1, 2027, and submit a final report by November 2027.
