SysEB Patch Memorial Research Award

About this program

The Entomological Society of America’s Systematics, Evolution & Biodiversity Section offers the SysEB Patch Memorial Research Award to recognize outstanding master’s thesis research in arthropod morphology, systematics, taxonomy, or evolution; the award includes a plaque and cash prize. Candidates must be ESA members and have completed a qualifying master’s thesis at a recognized college or university within two calendar years before the nomination deadline. Nominations may be submitted by anyone, including the candidate, and must include a nomination letter, CV, thesis excerpts and approval page, and two confidential faculty recommendations. Complete electronic nomination packages of no more than 20 pages are due annually by June 1 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
