TAA Young Investigator Award

About this program

The Tourette Association of America offers the Young Investigator Award to support innovative clinical research that advances understanding, patient care, and therapy development for Tourette Syndrome, funding up to $75,000 per year for two years (total $150,000). Eligible applicants are early-career researchers—post‑doctoral fellows and independent clinical/research faculty within five years of their first faculty appointment—who hold an advanced degree (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) and who submit an independent research project with a career-development plan; international applicants may apply. Award funds may cover salaries (U.S. NIH salary cap applies), laboratory supplies, limited travel (up to $1,500/year), research equipment (up to $5,000), and up to 10% indirect costs, provided the total grant amount does not exceed program limits.
