Talia Joy Smith Pursue Your JOY Scholarship Fund

About this program

The Community Foundation of Noble County offers the Talia Joy Smith Pursue Your JOY Scholarship, a one‑time $2,000 award established by Brad and Mary Smith in memory of Talia Joy Smith to support East Noble High School seniors pursuing postsecondary study in musical theatre/vocal performance or performing arts; funds are restricted to tuition, books, and academic fees (not housing). One annual award is available for students entering a four‑year bachelor's program. Applicants must be East Noble High School seniors with at least two years’ participation in show choir and/or theatre at East Noble and a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale, with preference for performing arts majors. Apply via the CFNC Scholarship Apply Portal—create an account, complete the eligibility quiz, CFNC Main Application and matched scholarship application—and submit all materials by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM.
