Team Achievement Award 2025

About this program

Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) offers the Team Achievement Award 2025 to recognize small teams (3–10 members) for outstanding workplace, patient-care, or community contributions; the award includes a $500 cash prize, a desktop award, and travel reimbursement for one team member to attend the ONS Congress. Travel reimbursement covers round‑trip economy airfare if booked through ONS’s travel agency, one night’s lodging if arranged through ONS meetings, meals for a 24‑hour period, and certain ground transportation/parking within specified limits. Eligible teams must have 3–10 members with an RN team leader who is an active ONS member; the project must demonstrate service or process improvements that improve patient care or education, embody ONS core values, and raise patient/community awareness of oncology nursing. Nominations require a narrative statement, two letters of support (colleague, patient/caregiver, or supervisor), and a list of team members; all applications must be submitted before 5:00 pm ET on September 30 (no extensions); questions: awards@ons.org or (412) 859‑6320.
