Terrestrial and Extraterrestrial Atmospheres

The Research Corporation for Science Advancement (RCSA) is accepting applications for its 2027–2029 Scialog on Terrestrial and Extraterrestrial Atmospheres, which will support a cross-disciplinary community developing validated, process-based models that integrate atmospheric observations, laboratory experiments, and theory. Approximately 50 early-career faculty will be selected as Fellows to collaborate with senior scientific Facilitators on research addressing atmospheric characterization, chemistry, climate, and planetary evolution. Applicants should be early-career faculty, from their first year in a faculty position through recently post-tenure, and represent relevant fields such as astrophysics, planetary or terrestrial atmospheric science, statistics, chemistry, and experimental research; applications are due April 15, 2027.
