About this program
The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) offers the Alan C. McClure Graduate Scholarship to support one year of advanced study in naval architecture, marine engineering, or ocean engineering. One scholarship may be awarded annually to an applicant studying at an institution worldwide. Applicants must be SNAME members in good standing, with membership documented for at least two years before the application deadline, nominally February 15. Recipients must not receive their master’s degree before September 1 of the applicable academic year.
