About this program
The American Center of Research (ACOR) offers three four-month Amman Prizes in 2026 for research and residence in Jordan: two for ABD doctoral students and one for postgraduate researchers. Each award provides $25,000, including a monthly stipend, room and board at ACOR, and travel and research expenses. ABD applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled at a U.S. institution and have completed all PhD requirements except the dissertation; postgraduate applicants may be of any nationality and must demonstrate a record of significant scholarly or creative work. Applicants must conduct research focused on Jordan, reside at ACOR, and apply by February 15; undergraduates and recent ACOR fellowship recipients are ineligible.
