Virginia A. Livolsi APSS Study Stipends

About this program

The Arthur Purdy Stout Society offers Virginia A. Livolsi APSS Study Stipends for pathology residents to spend one month at another institution studying a specific area of diagnostic surgical pathology. Each recipient receives $5,000 for travel and living expenses, while salary remains the responsibility of the resident’s regular training program. Applicants must be sponsored by Arthur Purdy Stout Society members at both their home and host institutions and provide supporting letters; applications are accepted July 1–December 31, 2026. Underrepresented minority residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
