The Award for Inclusive Excellence

About this program

The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) offers the Award for Inclusive Excellence to recognize members who demonstrate leadership in establishing inclusive, welcoming, and participatory educational or learning environments. The award includes a $1,000 honorarium, complimentary Annual Meeting registration, and up to $1,000 in travel reimbursement. Nominees must be current AAA members with at least one year of membership and submit a CV or NIH-style biosketch, three support letters (including one from an AAA member), and a nomination letter documenting their initiatives and impacts. Nominations are due October 19, 2026, with additional materials due November 9, 2026.
