The Ben Serafin Fund - Annual Grants & Scholarships (Douglas County, OR)

Oregon Community Foundation’s Ben Serafin Fund provides annual competitive grants and scholarships to benefit Douglas County—with preference for organizations and students in the Glide community—in honor of local leader Ben Serafin. Approximately $50,000 is available annually for grants typically ranging $2,000–$15,000 (occasionally larger), with grant applications accepted June 1–July 15 via OCF’s MyOCF portal; multiyear grant requests are not accepted. Eligible grant applicants are local service districts and 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving Douglas County (preference to Glide); required materials include IRS tax‑exempt letter, current and prior year organizational budgets, board list, and recent audited financials if available, and grantees must submit annual evaluation reports (due July 15) before new funding is considered.
