Coefficient Giving’s Farm Animal Welfare Fund supports tractable, cost-effective projects addressing important and neglected strategies to improve farm animal welfare. Grants are generally awarded for two years, with applications accepted on a rolling basis; a limited number of experimental grants may be non-renewable, capped at $300,000, and limited to two years.

Organizations should first submit a pitch email to confirm alignment with the fund’s strategic priorities, as unsolicited formal proposals are generally not accepted. Invited applicants must provide a two-year budget, major achievements, and measurable goals and key results, and most grantees must maintain or adopt compliant sexual-harassment policies.
