The Fund for Women & Girls Grant

About this program

The Fund for Women & Girls, a special initiative of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, offers competitive grants of up to $15,000 to support projects that advance the lives of women and girls in South Central Pennsylvania; applications are accepted Feb 1–May 1. Funding priorities include addressing basic needs and economic self-sufficiency, strengthening health and safety, promoting education, and investing in systems-level diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, and may support new, expanding, or sustaining programs. Eligible applicants are local nonprofit organizations serving women, girls, or those who identify as such in Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, and Perry counties and the Dillsburg area, and proposals must demonstrate lasting value with a plan for sustainability beyond the grant term.
