The Keller Scholarship in Conservation Horticulture

The Garden Club of America, in collaboration with Botanic Gardens Conservation International–US (BGCI‑US), awards the Keller Scholarship in Conservation Horticulture to support experiential undergraduate study in conservation horticulture at recognized U.S. botanic or public gardens, providing at least one award up to $5,000 (typically a summer fellowship, not limited to that period) and access to BGCI‑US programs and resources. Eligible applicants are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are currently enrolled sophomores, juniors, or seniors at U.S. institutions with declared majors in biology, horticulture, or related fields, with preference for those demonstrating interest in plant conservation and botanic gardens. Applications must be received at GCA Headquarters by January 15 (annual deadline) and only one GCA scholarship/fellowship/award application may be submitted per applicant each year.
