The President’s Award of the Society for Classical Studies

About this program

The Society for Classical Studies offers the President’s Award to an individual, group, or organization outside the Classics profession that has significantly advanced public appreciation and awareness of Classical antiquity. The award consists of an inscribed gift and is presented at the SCS Annual Meeting following its December announcement. Nominations are open to both professionals and the public and must include a letter describing the nominee’s contributions and a brief biography or CV. Materials must be submitted to the SCS Executive Director by April 1 each year.
