The Selley Foundation Grants

About this program

The Selley Foundation, a donor-advised fund of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, provides grants of up to $75,000 to nonprofits serving the Greater New Orleans region. Funding supports programmatic and capital needs in arts and culture, education, and environmental initiatives such as water management, coastal restoration, and wildlife conservation. Applicants must complete a two-step electronic process beginning with a letter of inquiry and, if invited, a full application; the Foundation prefers organizations with at least 10 years of demonstrated success and requires at least 75% board giving. The Foundation generally does not fund athletics, special events, fundraising benefits, general operating expenses, or social service programs.
