The Stanley and Florence Patten Travel Scholarships

The American Society of Cytopathology Foundation offers the Stanley and Florence Patten Travel Scholarships to support attendance at the ASC Annual Scientific Meeting. Eight $2,500 scholarships are awarded annually—four to cytologists/cytotechnologists and four to cytopathology fellows and/or pathology residents—to help cover registration, travel, and hotel expenses. Applicants must be ASC members; cytologists/cytotechnologists must be within their first five years of membership or attending the meeting for the first time, while fellows and residents must be enrolled in their programs at the time of the meeting. Applications are due July 15 and require a curriculum vitae and a one-page statement describing career goals and the scholarship’s anticipated benefit.
