The United Way Disaster Relief Fund

About this program

The Community Foundation of Dunn County, in partnership with the United Way of Dunn County, is administering the United Way Disaster Relief Fund to provide rapid-response grants to nonprofit organizations delivering immediate basic-needs relief related to the COVID-19 emergency. Eligible recipients are 501(c)(3) nonprofits, groups fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3), and other charitable entities able to receive tax-deductible contributions (such as schools and public entities); individuals, businesses, labor unions and organizations classified as 501(c)(4), (c)(5) or (c)(6) are not eligible. There is no formal application process—qualified organizations should email Jennifer Thatcher at jthatcher@uwaydunn.org to request support; approved grantees will be published on the Community Foundation and United Way websites and no specific award amounts are published.
