The William & Griselda Kerr Fund

Foundation Derbyshire operates the William & Griselda Kerr Fund to support community groups that use the arts (music, dance, drama) or horticulture to develop skills, health and opportunities for vulnerable people. Grants of up to £2,500 are available for capital (including equipment and refurbishment/building), revenue (running costs) and one-off events or projects; applicants proposing large-scale building/refurbishment must identify a specific item that £1,000 would purchase or contribute towards. Eligible applicants are Derby City- and Derbyshire-based community groups or projects working with vulnerable people through arts or horticulture. There are no fixed deadlines—applications are considered by a panel that meets once a year—and applicants are encouraged to discuss project ideas with the grants team before applying.
