About this program

The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina offers the Yancey Fund Grant to support projects that enhance the quality of life in Yancey County, focusing on charitable purposes such as programmatic, capital, equipment, and technology needs. Grants range from $2,500 to $10,000, with funds available by the end of April and a 10-month spending requirement. Eligibility is limited to qualified 501(c)(3), governmental, educational, and religious organizations already established in or serving Yancey County, with a restriction of one application per year and a requirement to submit prior End of Grant Reports. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on March 1, 2025.
