TMEA Research Grant - up to $1,200

The Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) offers an annual research grant of up to $1,200 to support projects that advance knowledge and practice in music education. Applicants must be qualified researchers able to complete the proposed study within the submitted timeline and must be Active TMEA members based in Texas, maintaining membership for the duration of the study. Proposals are not restricted by topic, though the TMEA Board is particularly interested in music teacher and student retention, recruitment methods that increase representation, social-emotional learning, and cultural responsiveness; proposals must be submitted online by October 1 for consideration.
