Tom Cade Conservation Award

About this program

The Raptor Research Foundation offers the Tom Cade Conservation Award, a non-monetary annual honor recognizing individuals who have made significant advances or exceptional contributions to raptor conservation across science and practice, including population restoration, captive propagation/reintroduction, biodiversity studies, and work on rare or threatened species. There are no formal eligibility restrictions (RRF membership is encouraged), and the award is open to individuals whose work has demonstrably advanced raptor conservation. Nominations require nominee and nominator contact details, names of three referees qualified to evaluate the nominee’s scientific contributions, a summary of those contributions, and a complete publication list; the online application opens in January and must be submitted by June 30 (questions: awards@raptorresearchfoundation.org).
