About this program
The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) offers the Trailblazers Travel Award to recognize molecular diagnostics and medicine professionals whose personal or professional challenges have shaped their careers and contributions to patient care. Awardees receive up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement, meeting registration, and access to on-demand recordings for the AMP Annual Meeting & Expo; applications open April 1 and are due June 30.
Applicants must be active AMP members, submit an abstract to the 2025 AMP Annual Meeting & Expo, and provide a CV, statement of interest, abstract, and a 250–500-word personal essay. A lab director must confirm that the applicant’s institution does not fully fund meeting registration or travel, and awardees must attend the awards presentation and submit a 250-word post-meeting report with travel receipts.
