Travel Award Supplement

About this program

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation offers Travel Award Supplements of up to $3,000 for travel expenses associated with off-site training in research skills, techniques, or studies that cannot be conducted at the applicant’s home institution. Eligible applicants include PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, clinical fellows, and junior faculty conducting cystic fibrosis-related research with at least one year of research experience at the PhD level or higher. Training must provide hands-on experience and support independent application of the method at the home institution; conference attendance is not eligible. Applications are due online by 5 p.m. ET on November 16, 2026.
