Treesh, Captain James M. Scholarship Fund

About this program

The Community Foundation of Noble County administers the Treesh, Captain James M. Scholarship Fund, a one-time $1,500 award for East Noble High School seniors or graduates to help cover tuition, books, and academic fees (funds may not be used for housing; unused funds must be returned by the institution if not used within the academic year). Applicants must apply through the Foundation’s GrantInterface portal—create an account, complete the eligibility quiz and matched scholarship applications, and submit the CFNC Main Application (essays, references, activities) and all materials by Jan. 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM. Eligible candidates are East Noble seniors or alumni pursuing any degree or certificate at an accredited post‑secondary, trade, or technical school with a GPA of 2.50–3.50 (preference to those near 3.00); consideration may be given for prior military service or planned attendance at a military academy, and applicants may reapply during their college career.
