Union Power Cooperative Grant Program

About this program

Union Power Cooperative invites grant applications to fund specific project needs of established nonprofit organizations that deliver measurable community benefits within the cooperative’s five-county service area; eligible focus areas include social/community services, emergency services, education and youth, child and family services, and transportation. Grants are restricted to projects (no general operating or start‑up funding) and are generally awarded to organizations with 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt status; individuals cannot apply. Each organization may submit only one application per 12‑month period and must agree to verification of fund use if awarded. Applications are submitted online and reviewed quarterly with deadlines on Feb 15, May 15, Aug 15, and Nov 15, and applicants are notified following the board’s decisions.
