About this program

Offered by the American Marketing Association through its Marketing Strategy Special Interest Group, the Varadarajan Award for Early Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research recognizes a marketing faculty member within ten years of receiving their doctoral degree for distinguished contributions to marketing strategy research and practice. Selection emphasizes overall impact on research and practice, research quality and quantity, and research leadership. Nominations open in February and require letters addressing the selection criteria plus an updated CV sent to the chair of the Marketing Strategy SIG; the recipient is chosen by a committee of leading scholars and honored at the AMA Summer Academic Conference.
