About this program

Italian Language Foundation (ILF) is offering free student membership in its Commitment to Excellence (C2E) Program, which provides one-to-one mentorship, leadership development, internship placement, cultural programming, and $1,000-per-semester college fellowships aligned with the AP Italian program. Fall 2026 fellowship applications open April 20, 2026; complete applications must be submitted in one email to info@italianlanguagefoundation.org by May 20, 2026 and include proof of registration in an Italian course, your ILF teacher member’s name, two recommendation letters, a bilingual (Italian/English) 250-word blog with photos and a two-sentence bio, and an official transcript. Eligible students may apply up to twice during their four-year college enrollment and must meet all criteria each time; specific fellowships have targeted requirements (e.g., Alfred Catalanotto for U.S. business majors, Enrico Fermi for students combining Italian with STEM, Claire Gaudiani for general enrollment in Italian, Fred Kuwornu for African‑American students).
