Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award

About this program

Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) offers the Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award to recognize community-based clinical faculty for outstanding contributions to teaching medical students and residents. Up to five physicians may be honored annually by each AΩA Chapter, with recipients receiving a framed certificate and potential consideration for AΩA faculty membership. Nominees may be AΩA members or nonmembers and must demonstrate leadership, professionalism, teaching excellence, and strong clinical skills; members must have active status. Nominations are submitted by the Chapter’s AΩA Councilor or representative on an ongoing basis at least one month before the presentation date.
