W. Bruce Lincoln Book Prize

Sponsored by Mary Lincoln and administered by the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES), the W. Bruce Lincoln Book Prize recognizes an exceptional first published monograph or scholarly synthesis that has lasting significance for understanding Russia’s past. The annual prize includes a cash award and presentation at the ASEEES Annual Convention.

Eligible books must be first monographs or syntheses published in English in North America during the preceding calendar year and address any period in the history of the former imperial Russian state or Soviet Union. Textbooks, translations, reference works, edited collections, and self-published books are excluded; nominations may be submitted only by the author or publisher, with the nomination form due April 15 and books received by May 15.
