The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) offers the William D. James, MD, Mentor of the Year Award to recognize Academy members with a sustained, outstanding commitment to mentoring and a significant positive impact on mentees and the dermatology community. Nominees must be AAD members in good standing who demonstrate accessibility, serve as positive role models, provide career and professional guidance, foster intellectual growth, and act as trusted advisors.
