American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (AFPE) presents the William M. Heller Mentor of the Year Award to recognize faculty who demonstrate exceptional mentorship in pharmaceutical education; the recipient receives an etched glass commemorative sculpture and a $1,000 award. Eligible nominees are faculty members put forward by students and colleagues who exemplify ongoing learning, willingness to share expertise, enthusiasm for their field, leadership, teaching excellence, and respectful guidance. Nominations are requested in April and the winner is announced in July.
