Wings to Fly Travel Award

Raptor Research Foundation, Inc. offers the Wings to Fly Travel Award to fund travel for raptor researchers and conservationists residing outside the U.S. and Canada to present a paper or poster at the RRF annual meeting. Awards cover airfare, visa fees, food and lodging, waived conference registration, and a one‑year RRF membership, with amounts based on travel costs up to $2,500; up to 4–5 awards are granted annually. Applicants submit an online application (opens in January; deadline March 31) including title and abstract (≤300 words), optional Materials and Methods (≤300 words), lists of degrees and relevant species/work, list of scientific papers, a motivational essay (≤300 words), and estimated travel costs; students must provide two references. Decisions are made within two weeks of the deadline, and awards may be deferred if visa issues prevent attendance.
