Women Who Care Grant Program

About this program

The Women Who Care Grant, offered by the Elk County Community Foundation, provides awards of up to $5,000 to support nonprofit charitable organizations, schools, and municipalities in launching new projects or enhancing existing programs that address community needs. Projects must demonstrate sustainability and avoid duplicating the efforts of other local organizations. Applicants must submit a detailed narrative, budget information, and a 3-minute video presentation for the annual meeting, with recipients required to complete the project within one year and provide documentation for publicity. Eligibility is restricted to 501(c)(3) nonprofits, schools, or municipalities, excluding individuals, capital campaigns, religious or political organizations, and excessive administrative costs.
